Interview with Margaret

Margaret is a Junior Counselor and a vital member of the Circle Pines squad. Her talents range from waking up sleeping 12 year olds to saving lives at the waterfront. This brilliant 18 year old hails from West Lafayette, Indiana and brings us all comfort and joy.

What is your favorite form of writing?
Facebook wall posts and plays.

What is your favorite field activity?
Entourage, also known as Rock, Paper, Scissors.

How do you feel about after lunch singing?
It's a beautiful way for the camp to communicate without speaking.

How do you cook your marshmallows?
I happen to be a marshmallow snob. The burning of the marshmallow is a blatantly undignified practice. A slow even toasting is the way to go.

What are your responsibilities at Circle Pines?
I'm a Junior counselor as well as a lifeguard. Also, I help lead structured swim time during work projects.

What do you think about when you are walking down to the waterfront?
I listen to music usually when it's sunny. It's the best feeling! It's a great time to be alone because there are so many kids all the time.
